DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

VDOHBoost respects creators' rights. Users must confirm they have permission to use any video before exporting it. VDOHBoost does not host a public library of videos: clips and exported files are deleted automatically about 30–45 minutes after the job is created (a cleanup task runs every 15 minutes), or immediately if the user deletes the job or the job fails. We still take copyright complaints seriously and respond to notices that follow the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws.

1. Sending a copyright notice

If you believe VDOHBoost is being used to infringe your copyright, send a written notice to our copyright contact with:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (owner or authorised agent).
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
  3. The link(s) to the video (Instagram, Facebook or TikTok URL) being processed through VDOHBoost, and any other details that help us find it.
  4. Your name, address, phone number and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

Send notices to: legal@vdohboost.com Operator: VDOHBoost ("we", "us") is an independent service operated by an individual. Contact us at legal@vdohboost.com.

Incomplete notices may not be acted on. Knowingly false claims may make you liable for damages.

2. What we do

When we receive a valid notice, we will act promptly to:

  • block the reported URL(s) so they can no longer be processed on VDOHBoost;
  • delete any related files still stored (files are normally deleted automatically about 30–45 minutes after the job is created anyway);
  • where possible, notify the affected user where we have a way to do so (VDOHBoost has no accounts, so this is usually not possible).

3. Counter-notice

If you believe material was blocked by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to legal@vdohboost.com with:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. The URL that was blocked.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was blocked by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the US Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which VDOHBoost may be found, and will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

We may forward the counter-notice to the original complainant. Unless they tell us they have started a court action, we may unblock the URL 10–14 business days after receiving the counter-notice, at our discretion.

4. Repeat infringers

We may block access to VDOHBoost, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, for users who repeatedly infringe copyright. Because VDOHBoost has no accounts, this policy applies to content, links, browsers, devices and networks rather than user profiles. Based on verifiable evidence of infringement, we may remove or disable access to content, refuse requests, and limit or temporarily suspend repeated use. Measures may include rate limiting, the anonymous session cookie (vb_cid) and temporary limits on a hashed IP address. We weigh these against privacy and the risk of blocking innocent users, such as people on shared networks.

Records: notices, counter-notices and related correspondence are kept in our legal mailbox (legal@vdohboost.com) as records.

5. Not legal advice

This page explains our process. It is not legal advice. If you are unsure about your rights, consult a lawyer.
